Meet the Sewist
I am a sewist, seamstress, and teacher. I have been sewing for most of my life, but have been involved professionally since 2012. Prom and wedding are my specialities. The Wright Sewing Co. came to be established in January, 2019, a direct result of the many snow-days we endured that winter. I now work with JSK Prom located in Mankato, MN taking fittings and doing alterations for their shop at River Hills Mall. I also take fittings from my home in Waconia, west of the Twin Cities Metro area. Sewing is a great passion of mine. It is my therapy.

JSK Prom is your local south central Minnesota formalwear boutique featuring homecoming, prom, bridal, and suiting. Located in the River Hills Mall in Mankato, MN, they have been serving southern Minnesota since 2015. Open every weekend in September-April and every other weekend in May-August. Appointments are not required but encouraged for prom and alterations. An appointment is required for bridal. Walk-ins are welcome but guests who made an appointment will be served first.
